WE SOLD OUR SOULS TO PUPPEL-POP

Golog, golog,
Tulevan leffan castaus on aiheuttanut kovan kuhinan blogiimme.

Zacharius Carls Group - Hot in the Studio! valokuva galleria by Panu Räsänen silvousplait:

Pukovski saa kiitosta basarin soundista. Liitto puhkeaa kukkaan illempana saunassa.

Hoo-hoo-hoo where is my dirty ho?

Pentti: "Tommi? Väsyttääkö?" Tommi: "Ei vielä."

Zacharius Carls Group
Hundreds of albums sold worldwide...
257 concert tickets sold...
Unbeatably mediocre...

... and now Zacharius - The Movie

All star cast includes:

Danny De Vito as Ossian Marttala
De vito plays the role of not so tall lead singer.
De Vito: "To find a giant inside of a small guy shouldn't be too hard for me...but the fragile dialect of Tornio-English really took time for me to learn"

Graham Greene as Tommi Södö
Greene delivers a grounbreaking performance as bass wizard Soedoe. "When I was young I saw all the girls in the neighborhood go gaga with Södömania. I feel blessed to play the role of this sexual shaman god." Mr. Greene confesses.

Ray Liotta as Jussi "Shadows" Sivonen
The role of heartbreaking guitar hero is the first time Liotta plays a rock star. He even took guitar classes from Joe Satriani to get a grip on Sivonen's distinctive guitar playing style.

Quentin Tarantino as Thomas Libanon
First time ever people can see Tarantino stripped to the waist on screen in the role of skinbashing adonis Thomas Libanon. He even copied the tattoos of Libanon to every detail, but there was no need to enhance his chin.

Carl Weathers as Jukka Putkinen
Weathers makes a return to form by portraying the "fucking mixer" Jukka Putkinen. "We went to Keminmaa Yläaste together when we were young, so I know a good deal what goes inside that niggas head." Weathers speaks about his fishing pal Putkinen.

Sting as Jaakko Niska
The ex-bass player of Zacharius is played by Sting. Keanu Reeves was the original idea to cast this "Hightower" of rocknroll, but the producers didn't find him as charismatic as Sting.

Randy Quaid as Arska
Quaid played the role of Colonel Tom Parker earlier in his career so he knows a good deal how to really rock it out as a manager who likes men in thongs.

Los Lobos as Moses Hazy
To play the role of fellow band Moses Hazy, Los Lobos took a ride to Kontupohja and went to sauna to explore the inner self of Moses Hazy. "To play music and urinate on your vomit may seem easy on screen, but to actually do that, it takes a lot of vodka and concentration."

More castings published soon.
In the meanwhile Zacharius does the finishing mixes on their upcoming Hate, Love & Faith album. Ass kicking apathic puppel-pop in the making!

UPDATE!(12.03.2007)New castings for Zacharius -The Movie

Sylvester Stallone as Pentti Amore
This time you can see "Sly" in a role of a different Macho-Man. The infamous producer and fellow musician Amore is very well known for his splish-splash method in the studio, but this technique was censored and Sly rejected for doing it "4real".

Jack Black as Lebu Tsernobyl
Like Pentti, also from the Morley - family, Lebu is the youngest and wildest, so who else than Jack Black could perform the sheer explosive energy in both guitar playing and shit-chatting?

Timothy Dalton as When Evil Spirits Attack
"more intense than James Bond and thousand times more masculine than Rhett Butler, but still in touch with his soul" Timothy Dalton goes poetic while describing his feelings about portraying the wizard When evil spirits attack, another one of the Morley-family.

Lou Ferrigno as Keke
Known as a fair copper and as a "batman behind the lightning desk", who else could take the part of mighty Keke than mr.Hulk himself, Lou Ferrigno.

Viggo Mortensen as Jens-Even Ervasti
Every band has its guru, and Jens-Even is the godfather of boogie for Zacharius, the wise old geezer, a gentle giant, who will lead the blind rockers along the highway 69. Viggo grew moustache to gain credibility for the role of Jens-Even, and learned the secrets of Java-script.

Peter Stormare as Juha Niska
The role of Hovi-director of Zacharius and a beast behind drum kit was a challenge for swedish born actor Stormare. "Jag tycker att han är en mycke snygg killa så jag gillar at vara Juha Niska. En gång i livstimma, en mycket specielt chans" en gamla gubbe Stormare pratar på sin mobil telefon när han sitter i bastu efter tunnelbana-driving.

Vincent Gallo as Olli Nurminen
The visual designer Olpsa is portayed by multi-talented Vincent Gallo. Gallo also played in örinä-bands as a teenager, so he should have no problem to jump into the rocking boots of this easy going komistus.

Fabio as "Twisted" Krister Oberg
The motto "get to the show, and get there on time" is easily adapted by Zacharius, for they have a beast behind the wheel. A true ancient creek -style nightrider, Tarzan of E4, Twisted Krister keeps the band moving and also gives fatherly advices when the band wants to know about the mysteries of alcohol, stardom, women, or even line-dancing techniques. Fabio is visually perfect for this role, no doubt about it.

Jon C McGinley as The Number One Fan.
McGinley truly finds the "Rocking ways to die" on the screen in this motionless picture.
